Turn Your Pain Into Projects
The systems were not built for you. Stop asking them to change. Build the one that works — and document it so the next person does not have to start from zero.
Not inspiration. Infrastructure. 234 pages of method, verification logs, and the exact moves I used to convert a late diagnosis into a working body of work.

Invisible → Visible
How to make an unseen cognitive load legible enough that other people can plan around it.
Pain → Projects
The conversion mechanic: turning a recurring friction into a scoped, shippable artifact.
Margin → Center
Why the accommodation you build for yourself is usually the product everyone wanted.
A build manual, not a pep talk.
Every method in the book has a verification record behind it — what I tried, what failed, and what the evidence actually supports.
- 01
The late diagnosis is a spec sheet
Reading a diagnosis as documentation rather than a verdict — and what changes the moment you treat it as build requirements.
- 02
The Friction Audit™
A repeatable pass for finding where your day loses energy, and deciding which frictions to fix, route around, or delete outright.
- 03
Converting pain into scope
How a recurring problem becomes a project with an edge, a definition of done, and a reason to stop.
- 04
Building the second brain
The architecture of a system that survives a bad week: how to capture, connect and retrieve your own thinking without relying on memory.
- 05
Verification logs
Every claim in the book carries its evidence trail. This chapter shows you how to keep your own so your work holds up under scrutiny.
- 06
From margin to center
Turning the accommodation you built for yourself into a service, a product, or a room full of people who needed it too.
Late-diagnosed adults. Builders who think sideways. Leaders who keep losing good people to systems that were never designed for them.
If you have been told you are capable but inconsistent, this book gives you the language and the scaffolding to stop arguing about the diagnosis and start shipping around it.
If you manage people like that, it hands you the same map from the other side — where the friction actually lives, and what fixing it is worth.

Questions
What formats do I get?
Both. A 234-page landscape PDF with the full page design, and a reflowable EPUB 3 for phones and e-readers. One purchase, both files.
Is this a memoir?
No. There is autobiography in it because the evidence is autobiographical, but the structure is a manual: methods, audits, logs, and steps you can run yourself.
Do I need to be neurodivergent for this to be useful?
No. The method is about converting friction into work. It came out of a late diagnosis, but the mechanics apply to anyone building against a system that does not fit.
How does delivery work?

Can I buy copies for a team?
Yes. Get in touch and I will set up a bulk licence, and we can talk about pairing it with a workshop or keynote.
